Firstly set the speedo trip meter to ‘Zero’ and have money ready for the three motorway tollbooths – the total cost varies according to the season, but allow for around 10 euros. Your journey is 95 kilometres and it takes just under one hour

Leave the airport & follow the signs to Cadiz or Algeciras, E15 or N340. Both these towns are further west than Gibraltar which is not shown on Spanish road signs.

0.5km.             Roundabout - carry straight on

0.9km              The road splits - follow the ‘Cadiz’ sign and keep in the right hand lane

1.2km             Join the main road signed as E15 and N340 & follow the Algeciras signs

                        Keep in the RH lane, passing the BMW garage

                        Bear right following the E15, N340 and A7 signs

4.1km              Join the main road opposite El Corte del Ingles store on your left

                        Follow the signs to Algeciras 123km and Cadiz 230km

8.0km              Pass the motorway services sign

9.3km              Pass the Repsol garage at the motorway services

10.7km            Follow the Algeciras sign

11.5km            Pass under the overhead cable cars

17.9km            Keep in the centre lane and take the E15 to Algeciras

                        Follow the E15 motorway

43.1km            Motorway services area with a Repsol petrol station

71.9km            Motorway services with a Repsol petrol station

75.1km            Follow the E15 Guadiaro, Algeciras, Cadiz sign & stay in the centre lane

88.3km            Sign: A377 Casares & Manilva

88.9km            Repeat sign: A377 Casares & Manilva

89.3km            Overhead sign: A377 Casares & Manilva – Bear right & follow the road up an incline to the right

90.2km            Toll booth (approx 1 euro)

90.3km            100 metres to a roundabout – take first turning off signed A377 Manilva & cross over the motorway you’ve just left.   Follow the narrow road through the village of Manilva

91.9km            Up a slight incline & stop at the ‘T’ junction before turning left

92.1km            Pass a tall block of flats on your left, at the ‘Y’ junction – take right fork

                        Follow the road for as far as you can go (2.2km)

94.3km            Stop at the ‘T’ junction & turn right -you have reached the N340 road

                        After just 20 metres, turn right at the sign ‘Puerto de la Duquesa’ and descend the slope to the ‘STOP’ sign at the bottom where you turn left to pass under the road you have just left.

Follow the road for 50 metres to another ‘STOP’ sign which is about 30 metres from an archway with windows above the barrier gate and a minimarket to the right. There are two car parks – one either side of this access road.

The main entrance to apartment 4-3-11 el Boqueron is directly opposite the entrance to the minimarket. The entrance has twin wooden doors and you will see it between the ‘Green and Blue’ estate agents and the two wall mounted public telephones alongside the barrier.

Take the lift to the 3^rd Floor and the apartment entrance is next to the lift on the right as you leave the lift.

There apartment door has a security lock – insert the key with the smaller flange to the right. Turn the key clockwise - you may need to turn it 2 or 3 times according to how many turns were used to lock the door previously.
