SERVICES The electricity supply is 220 volts and the power sockets have two round pins. All UK 13amp, 240-volt appliances work satisfactorily when used with adaptors. The adaptors can be bought in the nearby mini-market, but you are advised to take your own. The electricity control panel, situated behind the front door, uses ‘trip switches’ (not fuses). An immersion heater with twin settings heats the hot water and is located in the kitchen. Domestic rubbish should be placed in the waste collection skips, 100 yards away at the far end of the car park. They are emptied daily. |
